Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us at info@elloro.nl, and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Villa Curazon processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing your payment
- To be able to call or email you if necessary to provide our services
- To inform you about changes to our services and products
- Villa Curazon also processes personal data if we are legally obligated to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
Automated decision-making
Villa Curazon does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (for example, a Villa Curazon employee) being involved.
How long we retain personal data
Villa Curazon does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
General: Retention period is no longer than is strictly necessary to answer and/or process your request/question.
Reservation: Retention period: at least 7 years after final reservation (due to legal administrative obligations).
Newsletter: Retention period: indefinite or until requested deletion.
Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remembers your preferences, for example. They also allow us to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser to no longer store them. You can also delete all previously stored information through your browser settings.
Google Analytics
Villa Curazon uses Google Analytics to collect data that provides insight into website use. The following steps have been taken to anonymize this data as much as possible:

You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Villa Curazon, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@elloro.nl.
To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please redact your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

Villa Curazon takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
