Booking and Reservation Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions of this rental agreement are as follows:
1. BOOKING CONDITIONS:
Once the holiday home is booked, the tenant will receive an invoice for a deposit of 25% of the total rental price. This deposit must be paid within 8 days to confirm the reservation. By doing so, you automatically agree to the rental terms and conditions below.
If the deposit is not received within this period, the reservation will automatically be canceled. The remaining amount, as well as the final cleaning costs and any transfer fees, must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. If the reservation is made with an arrival date within 8 weeks, the tenant must pay the entire rental amount at once.
The landlord is authorized to cancel or refuse a reservation based on age and/or group composition after consultation with the tenant.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
If a reservation is canceled by the guest, the following cancellation fees apply:
We therefore always recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any cancellations.
3. MANAGEMENT
Upon arrival, the property manager will welcome the guest, give a tour of the house, and be available to answer any questions about their stay.
4. STAYING IN THE PROPERTY
The property is intended solely for holiday accommodation. We kindly request that you observe local norms and values that apply to living in a villa on Curaçao. The following guidelines apply:
For any questions or concerns, please contact the manager.
Subletting is strictly prohibited. It is not permitted to accommodate more people in the holiday home than the agreed-upon number stated in the reservation, unless you have obtained our prior consent. Failure to comply may result in early termination of the rental agreement without a refund.
It is strictly prohibited to move cabinets, beds, audio or television equipment, or to take any of the inventory outside, except for crockery, glasses, and cutlery for meals outside.
5. SWIMMING POOL
Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. It is possible that a technical problem may (temporarily) prevent you from using the pool. Every effort will be made to resolve the problem. The landlord cannot be held liable for any damage incurred in or around the pool, or if the pool offered at the property is unavailable.
6. CHECK-OUT
When leaving the holiday home, both during the stay and upon departure, we kindly request that you ensure that all doors and windows are properly locked.
Please complete the following tasks before your departure:
The landlord reserves the right to inspect the holiday home during the rental period.
If the tenant, their family members, guests, or other persons permitted by the tenant, despite any warnings, fail to comply with the obligations stipulated in the terms and conditions, code of conduct, instructions from the landlord, or government regulations, in such a way that it is unreasonably unacceptable for the landlord to continue the lease, the landlord or their designated representative has the right to terminate the lease immediately. Furthermore, the landlord may immediately deny the tenant and co-occupants access to the property, without refunding any rent.
7. DAMAGE AND DEFECTS
Upon arrival, we strongly recommend that you thoroughly inspect the holiday home and its inventory for any defects or deficiencies. Should you discover any damage or defects, please report them to the property manager immediately upon arrival. If the damage is your own fault and/or is not the result of normal use or wear and tear, you will be charged for the costs of repair, transport, and/or replacement.
Liability
We are in no way liable for:
8. VALIDITY OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS
By confirming your booking after we have confirmed it (this does not include placing an option), you agree to the rental terms and conditions, and the rental agreement is concluded. The rental automatically ends after the agreed period.
